Our Italian cooking school at the luxurious Tenuta La Pila is designed to immerse you in the culture and lifestyle of Veneto and teach you how to cook authentic Italian dishes in an informal and friendly environment.
Your host at Lorella Cappellato a locally born chef who studied by the most famous italian cookery schools and who worked in Italy and Usa with very important chefs.
Lorella's Italy cooking schools offers a comprehensive hands on course designed to teach you to make splendid 4 course Italian lunches covering all the basic Italian cooking techniques, from pasta to pastries and everything in between.
Most of the ingredients you will use at our Italy cooking schools are bought each morning from local marketsor directly picked up from Lorella's kitchen-garden. So you will be working with fresh fruit and vegetables in season. Throughout your time at our Italian cooking school you will learn about the ingredients and the traditions around the dishes as well as food presentation and wine choice.
Our Italy cooking schools week run from Sunday to Saturday and includes 4 elaborate hands-on cooking sessions with enough time to relax and enjoy the surroundings.Upon request, one day excursion will be organized to visit a vineyard for wine tasting, as well as a local lunch in a typical Verona hills restaurant.
It is also possible to bring along a non-participating partner to our Italian cooking school, who can spend the morning sightseeing, or biking or enjoying the swimming pool before enjoy us at the party for lunch.
