We hold our Italian cooking lessons from the charming Lorella's country house kitchen. You will stay at Tenuta la Pila,a recently restored large Italian farm which is now a stunning B.& B. set in a wonderfully quite. location just 5 minutes drive from Lorella house. Just half an hour driving from the B.& B. you will get the most important and amazing Veneto cityes like Verona, Padua, Mantua, Vicenza, Venice, Lake of Garda, Valpolicella hills and more.
Just a week at one of our cooking lessons, will allow you to immerse yourself in the Veneto culture and lifestyle and learn how to cook originals Italian dishes feelling at home, as you were born in Italy !.
Our cooking classes in Italy are taught by Lorella Cappellato , a locally born chef who studyed by the most famous Italian cookery schools and who worked all around the world with very important chefs. Lorella cooking school is a real hands-on learning experience. Each class concludes with a lunch composed of the several courses you have prepared during the class.
You won't learn just how to make home-made pasta but you will also learn the difference from north and south home-made pasta. You will learn how to bake the most delicious and creamy cakes and pastryes. At last you will learn really what is a “ good risotto ! “ and how to prepare it. Most of the ingredients you will use are seasonal products, bought each morning fro local markets or directly from Lorella's kitchen-garden.
Throughout our cooking classes in Italy, you will learn about the ingredients and the traditions around the dishes as well as food presentation and wine choise.
Our cooking classes in Italy run from Sunday to Saturday and includes 4 elaborated hands-on cooking sessions with enough time to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Upon request , one day excursion n will be organized to visit a vineyard for wine tasting, as well as a local lunch in a typical Verona Hills restaurant. It is also possible to bring along a non-participating partner who can spend the morning sightseeing, biking, or enjoying the swimming pool before rejoining then enjoy us for lunch.
